Xingtai Dalis Children's Toy Co., Ltd., a technology-driven enterprise specializing in the production and sales of high-quality children's toy cars and child safety seats, faced growing challenges as its business scaled up. With rising product sales, the company’s traditional storage model could no longer keep pace with its production and distribution demands—creating bottlenecks in space utilization and operational efficiency. To address these pain points, HEGERLS customized a semi-automated two-way shuttle dense storage system, tailored to Dalis’ product characteristics and warehouse layout. This solution not only optimized storage density but also streamlined material handling, marking a successful innovation in HEGERLS’ shuttle technology for the children’s toy industry.
Customized System Design: Precision for Toy Industry Needs
HEGERLS’ solution integrated three core components—two-way shuttle cars, shuttle racking, and conveyor equipment —all controlled by our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enable semi-automated operations. The design focused on solving Dalis’ key challenges:
Maximizing Storage Density: By eliminating traditional forklift aisles and auxiliary spaces, the system significantly increased the warehouse’s material storage capacity—critical for Dalis’ expanding product lineup.
2.Boosting Operational Efficiency: The automated shuttle cars reduced the time required for material access compared to manual forklift operations, while also cutting down on workers’ operational hours, improving overall productivity.
Meeting Specialized Load Requirements: HEGERLS developed a custom 1.3-meter-wide shuttle car body that could withstand a minimum load capacity of 500kg. This design was specifically engineered to accommodate the size and weight of Dalis’ children’s toy cars, ensuring safe and stable material handling.
